Working with the tasks plugin

This view plugin lists all tasks registered with ManiVault. This plugin is primarly designed as a debugging tool. Under normal circumstances, this plugin is not required.

In some cases this plugin is useful for monitoring long-running tasks.

Ways to add the plugin

From the main menu
To create the tasks plugin from the main menu:

  • Go to Main menu
  • View > System views > Tasks

By attaching it to an existing view
The tasks plugin can also be created from within the view:

  • Click the plus sign next to an existing system view
  • Choose where to place the new view (Left, Right, Above, Beneath or Tabbed)
  • Select Tasks
